About this site

As a father of two beautiful children, one of which has Autism, I realized that there aren't many support groups for men of children with special needs. Sure, there are plenty for women (these days, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one of these support groups), but men are a stoic bunch, and rarely ask for help. Instead, they feel they should be the pillar of strength for the family, and NEVER show any signs of weakness. To anyone. EVER. But that isn't the case (as I very well know) and I wanted to provide a place that men could go to ask questions, share stories, or just co-miserate. I encourage anyone that would like to share to please join me.
